Design & Details
A thin stainless rectangle in four finishes, from the rim to the fit.
A rectangular front in round stainless wire, with a squared lower corner and a flat top. The rim is thin enough that the lens shape does most of the work, and the temple is a slim bar rather than a flat strip.
The endpieces are folded from the rim and the bridge is a simple arched bar. Because the wire is round, the frame catches light along its whole length, which is what separates it from a painted flat profile.
Stainless steel wire front and temple, 1.0 mm, with the rim closed by a screw at the lower outer corner so the lens can be replaced without cutting the rim. Nose pads are adjustable silicone on wire arms.
The temple tip is moulded acetate and the hinge is a standard barrel. The four finishes are applied over the polished wire, so the colour sits on a smooth surface rather than a brushed one.
